Delivery & Returns

The following Delivery & Returns information applies to products supplied by Greenhaus. Full Terms & Conditions are available on our website and apply to all purchases.

1. Lead Times

All manufacturing and delivery lead times are estimates only and may be affected by supplier delays, material shortages, transport disruptions, public holidays, weather conditions, load shedding, and circumstances beyond Greenhaus’ reasonable control.

2. Delivery

Customers are responsible for ensuring products will fit through doorways, passages, staircases, lifts, and entrances prior to delivery.

Additional charges may apply for:

  • stair carries;
  • difficult access;
  • waiting times;
  • failed deliveries;
  • estate delays;
  • upper-floor deliveries;
  • furniture moving;
  • installation complications.

Risk in the goods passes to the Customer upon delivery or collection.

3. Ready-to-Ship Products

Ready-to-ship products purchased in-store are sold as viewed and inspected by the Customer at the time of purchase.

Greenhaus does not offer refunds for correctly supplied, non-defective ready-to-ship products.

Exchanges for standard products may be considered at Greenhaus’ sole discretion, subject to:

  • return within 7 days;
  • products being unused and in original condition;
  • proof of purchase being supplied.

Collection, delivery, courier, handling, and restocking costs relating to approved exchanges are for the Customer’s account.

Online purchases may be subject to applicable cooling-off rights in terms of the Consumer Protection Act where applicable.

4. Custom Furniture

All custom furniture manufactured by Greenhaus is made specifically to Customer-approved specifications and is considered bespoke or made-to-order.

Once any payment has been received for a custom order, whether a deposit or full payment, the order shall be deemed confirmed and may not thereafter be cancelled, refunded, returned, or exchanged, except where required in terms of the Consumer Protection Act.

5. Natural Solid Timber Characteristics

Solid timber is a natural material and may naturally expand, contract, split, bow, or develop fine hairline cracks in response to environmental conditions including humidity, sunlight, temperature fluctuations, air conditioning, and climate changes.

Variations in grain, colour, knots, texture, and natural markings form part of the character of solid wood furniture and do not constitute defects.

Relocation of timber furniture between coastal and inland regions may increase the likelihood of timber movement.

6. Product Images & Natural Variation

Product images, showroom samples, renders, and marketing material are for illustrative purposes only.

Natural materials, timber grain, fabric dye lots, lighting conditions, screens, and handcrafted finishes may result in slight variations in colour, grain, texture, tone, stitching, finish, and appearance.

Such variations are considered normal and do not constitute defects.

7. Full Terms & Conditions

Full Terms & Conditions apply and are available on our website. Please read our Terms and Conditions of Sale before purchasing.
